I got the Strawberry and Banana Pancake Combo. First time going here.. Never been to a Mexican restaurant that served breakfast. Took my food to go.Try the Pollo Loco for lunch.. quick service and super friendly staff!!

Wound up at Jaxels after pulling off the highway to get some sleep at the hotel across the street - this place is an absolute sleeper. Amazing authentic Mexican, great breakfast. The outside needs love, but the family who inherited this place is lovely, hard working, and great cooks! Had the chilaquiles my wife the omelette, we took the street burrito to go and their homemade brownies - amazing home cooked vibes across all.

Came here on a whim after getting off a flight and was surprised at how much I enjoyed the food. Someone else called this place a “sleeper” in their review and they’re right. This place looks nondescript but packs a punch. Got a big ol’ street burrito to go with all the fixin’s, a side of their salsa and a cold Pepsi. They absolutely hit the spot. The folks there are friendly, generous with their portions, and know how to make some delicious food.

I love visiting this place and the family that owns it are amazing people. I order pretty specifically and they always make sure it’s amazing. My burrito barely fits in the to-go box and is always on point, especially with a side of guac and salsa verde! Check it out if you’re close to the airport. Delicioso!

Every time I come to St. Louis, I stay at the Travelodge across the Street from Jaxel's. Every time I've ordered it's always very tasty food. Quick service and authentic. If you want good Mexican food I would recommend this place highly. Cheers!

This is a hidden gem that I wish so much success for. A friend introduced me to this restaurant and I've visited maybe a dozen times that their service and amazing food is consistent. I am definitely a giant fan of this place and will keep telling all of my friends about it.

Fantastic food. They passed my wife's Enchilada Check with flying colors. Beware the red sauce though, super spicy! Great service too. Would eat here again!
